Structuring or texturing of wood can be performed by our range of Sarmax machines, who are market leaders and worldwide specialists. This involves the removing of the softer wood grain producing a uneven surface that looks and feels more natural. Structuring is performed with brushes normally steel wire , brass oy nylon tynex depending on wood and type of component, whether its flooring, cladding, beams or panels.. New advances in the process is the scarving of the wood giving a more rough sawn look or even indenting for the woodwork effect. The results from these machines are effective and really give wood an antique or 3D texture which can be applied to 1 2, 3 or even all 4 sides for antiquing wood beams. Texturing can also be performed now on veneered panels up tp 1300 mm wide.
