Surface planers are used for straightening wood that might be bowed, cupped or twisted. The wood can only be passed over the top of the cutter block. The fence can then be used as a reference to produce two straight faces at 90 degrees. The wood can then be passed through a thicknesser which will then produce accurate dimensioned timber.
Choose from a huge range of the best surface planers to meet your workshop needs, from manufacturers including Minimax, SCM and Martin. We can offer different cutter block systems including standard planer blades, TERSA or spiral cutter blocks.
