SOLID CARBIDE UP & DOWNCUT Compression Spiral Router Cutter with DLCS CHROME COATING- LONG LIFE 190.41

DLCS, a modified diamond-like carbon coating, offers enhanced load-bearing capacity for industrial CNC tools. It features a hard, durable metal-based layer (chromium nitride) that provides exceptional surface hardness and resilience. This coating ensures prolonged tool life, lasting three times longer than uncoated tools. With extreme hardness (>HV 2,500), DLCS protects cutting areas from abrasive wear and stress, all while maintaining a minimal coating thickness (0.002-0.004 mm) for razor-sharp cutting edges. It boasts a low coefficient of friction (0.1-0.2), reducing sticking and enabling high-speed applications. Additionally, the DLCS coating can withstand high working temperatures up to 400 degreesC, preserving cutting edges from wear. Technical details include premium quality HWM, 2+2 and 3+3 spiral cutting edges, and an excellent finish on both upper and lower sides of workpieces. In a U.S. test with a ½" solid carbide compression spiral bit on a Felder Profit H10 CNC Router, the DLCS coated bit outperformed an uncoated bit by cutting 165 melamine panels compared to 56 panels, showcasing its exceptional durability and performance."

Application
Used for cutting, copying, panel sizing and any routing applications on solid wood, wood composites, plastic materials and laminates. Use a high feed speed on well-clamped workpieces. Can be used on machining centres, point to point machines, CNC routers and hand-held routers equipped with chucks or adaptors.
